The point you become hoggish, and wish to get "lucky", is the time you lose all of your cash. Sounds a bit absurd, but it seems to be genuine. The only time I ever come away with money is when I do not care about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino last night with $20. I couldn’t care any less about squandering it, who cares about twenty dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I left with one hundred and twenty dollars profit in two hours!
A different occassion I was at the casino with my friend Steve. I took in one hundred dollars that I couldn’t bear to squander. I got insatiable, I got worried, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in thirty minutes! The lesson is never bet anymore than you can afford to lose. If you don’t care about losing, you have a lot more chance of profiting big!
How else can you improve your chances of winning at Roulette other than creating a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Yes, they come up every once in a while, but they do not come up often enough to guarantee a dependable profit. Only wager on 1:1 bets like red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers like first 12, 2nd dozen, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay fairly high.
With the basic rules covered, how else might we further boost our chances of succeeding at Roulette? By making probability into our buddy, instead of our mortal enemy. "You cannot be a winner at Roulette", my friend Charles would say to me. "It’s completely arbitrary because any number could come up". Absolutely, my friend Bob does have a point, however at the same instance, he is missing a critical part of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red could be landed on 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
